Apart from a rigorous vaccination campaign, the Government of India has introduced various guidelines to curb the rise in the COVID graph. Furthermore, the resurgence of COVID in recent times is showing a daily positivity rate recorded at 0.07% and 0.09% of the weekly positivity rate. Also, according to the latest reports, the recovery rate is around 99%.
In this regard, the government has also made several coronavirus helpline numbers available to citizens of India. These helpline numbers can be utilised to launch any queries regarding this disease or report any suspected coronavirus cases to the local district surveillance units.
Following is a comprehensive list of all the helpline numbers, made available by India’s Central and State Governments in the wake of this coronavirus disease pandemic.

The government has also launched a chatbot on WhatsApp in an attempt to raise awareness about the disease and curb the spread of misinformation.
Users of this messaging platform can reach out to the health ministry at +91-9013151515. You can find relevant answers to your Covid-19 related queries by messaging “Hi” to this number.
You will then receive an automatically generated message from the helpline, following which you can post your query.

The government, in collaboration with WhatsApp, introduced this helpdesk to eradicate rumours and educate the masses with correct information about Covid-19. This was in line with the World Health Organisation partnering with WhatsApp to create their helpline for coronavirus.
