How to Get a Marriage Certificate in Punjab?

Step 1: Both spouses must visit the nearest Sewa Kendra and collect the required application form.

Step 2: Next, they should fill out information and specify the Marriage Act under which their marriage has to be solemnised.

Step 3: Next, all the required documents must be attached to the application form. To avoid any confusion, couples are highly advised to bring original documents along with photocopies.

Step 4: Then, you need to submit the application to the registrar.

Step 5: The registrar schedules an appointment and you must bring witnesses as well for the approval process.
