What Is the Petrol Tax Levied in Sikkim?

The Sikkim Government reduced VAT on petrol by ₹7 per litre, following the Central Government’s reduction of excise duty by ₹5 per litre on petrol. Thus, reduced excise duty and VAT rates lowered the petrol price by ₹12 per litre in Sikkim.
