How to Download an Aadhaar Card by Name and Date of Birth?
Follow the steps below in order to download e-Aadhaar by name and DOB:
Step 1: Visit the UIDAI official website
Step 2: Navigate to the option “My Aadhaar”.
Step 3: More options will now appear. Select "Retrieve Lost or Forgotten EID/UID".

Step 4: Now select “Aadhaar Number”.
Step 5: Next, enter your full name.
Step 6: Now, enter your email ID or mobile number.
Step 7: Fill in the CAPTCHA verification code.
Step 8: Click on the option “Send OTP”.
Step 9: Enter the OTP received via SMS and then click on “Login”.
Step 10: Now, a pop-up will appear on the screen of your phone informing you that your Aadhaar has been sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 11: On receiving the Aadhaar number, visit the official website of UIDAI once again.
Step 12: From the options appearing on the screen, select "My Aadhaar".
Step 13: Now, select “Download Aadhaar” from the dropdown menu.

Step 14: Now, enter your Aadhaar enrolment number and CAPTCHA.
Step 15: Click on the option “Send OTP”.
Step 16: Now, enter the OTP and click on the option “Verify and Download”.

Your password for the file will be a combination of the first 4 letters of your name in capitals and your year of birth. For example, a person named Trisha, who was born in 1994, will have the password TRIS1994. Entering the password, you gain access to the e-Aadhaar file.
How to Download an Aadhaar Card by Name and Date of Birth without OTP?
An OTP is mandatory to download an Aadhaar card from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) website. However, you can obtain an electronic version of your Aadhaar card without an OTP by generating a Time-Based One Time Password (TOTP). Here is the process to do so:
Step 1: Visit the official UIDAI Website.
Step 2: On the homepage, find and click on the “Download Aadhaar” link, or look for it under “Aadhaar Services.”
Step 3: Choose “Download Aadhaar” and then select the option to download Aadhaar using “Aadhaar Number” or “VID” (Virtual ID).
Step 4: Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number or VID and enter the CAPTCHA code displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Choose the TOTP option instead of OTP.
Step 6: Generate a 6-digit TOTP and enter the same on the appropriate field on the UIDAI website.
Step 7: Click on “Download Aadhaar” or the relevant button to generate and download your Aadhaar PDF.
Precisely, though there is no facility to download an Aadhaar card by using your name and date of birth, you can use these two parameters for retrieving your Aadhaar number. However, make sure that your details are up-to-date and your mobile number is registered to have hassle-free downloading of the Aadhaar card.
