Step 1: Visit the official portal of the Aadhaar Self-Service Update. 

Step 2: Then choose “Login.” 

Step 3: Now, provide your Aadhaar number, and enter the captcha code to click “Send OTP.”

Step 4: You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number, and after that, you can log in to your Aadhaar account.

Step 5: Click on “Update Aadhaar Online” under Services to update your address, gender, date of birth, name, and language of your Aadhaar card. 

Step 6: Follow the redirection, and click on “Proceed to Update Aadhaar”

Step 7: Click on your concerned Aadhaar details for updating and click “Proceed to Update Aadhaar”. You should also remember that there is a limit to updating/correcting your Aadhaar. 

Step 8: After that, you will be able to see all existing details on your Aadhaar card. Now, enter the details you are willing to change/ update and upload supporting documents.

Step 9:  Note the preview of your currently provided details and pay ₹ 50 (non-refundable) using net banking or a credit/ debit card.

Step 1: Fill out the Aadhaar correction form. Also, ensure that you are entering the correct information that is different from that mentioned in your current Aadhaar.

Step 2: After that, attach copies of proof (self-attested) to validate your request and submit the form with relevant documents.

Step 3: Finally, pay the required fee at the Aadhaar Enrolment Centre to update or correct your details.
