How to Check PUC Status Online?

Checking your vehicle's Pollution Under Control (PUC) status online is a quick and convenient way to verify whether your certificate is valid or due for renewal. You can check your vehicle's PUC status online in just a few taps using the Digit App: 

• Step 1: Open the Digit App and navigate to Free Tools > PUC Expiry

• Step 2: Choose a vehicle from your saved vehicles or enter the registration number of any vehicle you'd like to check.

• Step 3: The tool will instantly fetch and display your PUC status, PUC certificate number, and validity date.

The selected vehicle's owner details, PUC certificate number, certificate status, and validity period will be shown.

Here are the steps to check PUC status online:

• Step 1: Log in to the official website of Parivahan, and go to “Online Services”

• Step 2: Navigate to the "PUCC” option and select it.

• Step 3: Log in with the registration number of your car or bike as given on the paperwork.

• Step 4: Enter the last five digits of your vehicle’s chassis number. Now, enter the CAPTCHA code appearing on the screen for verification.

After completing the steps above, you can instantly access your PUC certificate status.

If your PUC Certificate is still valid, you can download a copy online through the Parivahan PUC Portal. If the certificate has expired, you must undergo a fresh emission test at an authorised PUC centre to obtain a new one.

1. Visit the Parivahan PUC Portal.
2. Enter your vehicle registration number and the last five characters of the chassis number.
3. Click PUC Details.
4. View, download, or print your certificate.

Note: Only active PUC Certificates available in the Parivahan database can be downloaded online. Expired certificates require a fresh emission test.

If a fine has been issued for an expired PUC Certificate, you can check the details and make the payment online through the Parivahan PUC Portal.

Steps to Pay the Fine:

1. Visit the Parivahan PUC Fine Payment Portal.
2. Enter your vehicle registration number.
3. Check the fine details.
4. Proceed with the online payment.

Once the payment is successful, keep the payment receipt for future reference.

You can view your vehicle's previous PUC test records and certificate details online through the Parivahan PUC Portal.

Steps to Check PUC History Online:

1. Visit the Parivahan PUC Portal.
2. Select PUC Certificate History.
3. Enter your vehicle registration number and the last five characters of the chassis number.
4. Complete the verification and submit the details.
5. View your vehicle's past PUC test records, certificate dates, and validity details.

Note: PUC history is available only for records updated in the Parivahan database by authorised PUC centres.
