Offline Process

Step 1: You need to download the KYC form from the website where you need to complete this process.

Step 2: Fill in the details as required in the form.

Step 3: After this, submit the appropriate documents such as a copy of your Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving licence, passport, bank passbook, Voter ID and photographs. These documents will serve as your ID.

Step 4: For address proof, submit your rent agreement, current electricity bill, landline bill, etc., and passport-size photographs.

All these documents need to be submitted along with the filled-up form.

Online Process

Step 1: You can complete your KYC verification process on any website of the KYC registration agency.

Step 2: You need to create your account and give your personal details.

Step 3: Type in your Aadhaar number and registered contact number.

Step 4: Then, an OTP will be sent to your registered contact number to verify your submitted information.

Finally, you need to upload your Aadhaar card's self-attested copy.

Often, a financial institution follows an Aadhaar-based KYC process before it allows you to invest in financial instruments. It sends an authorised representative to your home to collect your Aadhaar card and take the biometrics, like your fingerprints. After that, the appropriate authority validates your KYC after matching your fingerprints with the Aadhaar database.
