• Step 3: Link Your Aadhaar: If you logged in for the first time, you will need to link your Aadhaar if not yet done. This will help you retrieve any document from the government. Now, view your dashboard and search for Issued Documents or Uploaded Documents options. 
• Step 4: Search for Issuer: Select "Get Documents" or "Search Issuer." Then, search for the insurance company or authority that issued the bike insurance policy. 
• Step 5: Retrieve Insurance Document: Select your insurer integrated with the DigiLocker system from the listing provided. You can use your policy details, like a policy number or registered mobile number, to retrieve your policy directly.
• Step 6: You Can Manually Upload (Optional): If the insurance company is not integrated, select "Uploaded Documents". Click "Upload" to select the bike insurance document from your computer and upload it manually.

Via the DigiLocker Mobile App

• Start by downloading the DigiLocker mobile application on either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. 
• Then, log in using your registered mobile number or Aadhaar-linked details.

• If not, click "Uploaded Documents," click "Upload," then upload the document from your phone’s file storage. 
• You will need to tag "Insurance Policy," so be sure to do that and then save the document in your account.

Step 4: Retrieve Your Document

After verifying the information input, a document for your bike policy will be uploaded in PDF form and stored in your DigiLocker account. It will be available for access. You can view it in the issued documents section and save it offline.

Step 5: Share This Document

To share the document with others, click on the share icon next to the policy document. You can also generate a secure link or QR code to use in sharing.
