How To Check and Extend The E-Way Bill Validity?

How to Determine the Validity of an E-Way Bill?

The validity of an E-Way Bill depends on the distance between the source and destination of the goods. Moreover, this distance is calculated through the map feature this e-way bill system incorporates. The table below provides rules for determining the validity period of different types of vehicles.

Type of Vehicle Distance Validity Period

Normal Cargo

Up to 200 km 1 day
More than 200 km 1 additional day for every 200 km or above that

Over Dimensional Cargo

Up to 20 km 1 day
More than 20 km 1 additional day for every 20 km or above that

For example, if the distance between a source and destination is 300 km, the E-Way Bill validity time for normal cargo would be three days.
