The Jaipur International Airport is the largest and busiest airport in Rajasthan and 13th busiest airport in India. The airport is located about 10 kilometres away from the capital city of Jaipur. It began operating international flights on 29th December 2009.Â
Besides, the Airport plans to expand its infrastructural facilities by introducing smarter and faster internet connectivity along with more focus on security.
The Maharana Pratap Airport is a domestic airport that serves the inhabitants of Udaipur in west Rajasthan. The airport ranked 2nd among the list of non-metro airports in India. It is located at Dabok, almost 22 kilometres east of Udaipur and commenced operations on 16th November 1957.Â
The Jodhpur Airport is situated about 10 kilometres away from the city of Jodhpur and was built in 1920s. Recently, the Airport Authority of India has initiated a project where it will build a new terminal building in the airport.
Another popular domestic airport of Rajasthan is the Jaisalmer Airport, which is situated almost 13 kilometres away from the city centre. Like the Jodhpur Airport, this airport also has a civil territory on the Indian Air Force base.
The Kota Airport is also a domestic airport established by the Royal family of Kota and later taken over by the state government in 1951. It is located about 7 kilometres away from Kota.
Kishangarh Airport is another notable domestic airport that lies about 30 kilometres away from Ajmer. The Kishangarh Airport was inaugurated in 2017. Recently, the Airport Authority of India has decided to add new flights in the airport to enhance connectivity with the rest of the Indian cities.

The Nal Airport Station is situated about 13 kilometres away from Bikaner City and is a civil territory of the Indian Air Force. While it was opened in 1964, regular flights began operations in 2017.
