The Girl Child Protection Scheme is a government initiative designed to ensure girls' safety, education, and empowerment.The Girl Child Protection Scheme provides the following benefits:

  • Girls will receive ₹ 1800 annual incentives every year after 6 years of deposit to support their education expenses.
  • The State Governments will renew this amount every 5 years.
  • Girls will receive interest on this deposit on completion of 18 years of age. It aims to support their higher education. Therefore, they must appear for their 10th standard board examination to get this benefit. The precise amount of maturity benefits for both the deposits are below:
