Documents Required for Ireland Visa for Indians

The following is a list of documents you’d require:

Completed Application Form It must be signed and dated.
Original Passport Valid for at least six months after your intended departure date from Ireland.
Passport-Sized Photographs Two identical, recent colour photos (no older than six months). Name and visa application reference number on the back.
Visa Processing Fee Payable by cheque or mandate. No credit/debit cards accepted. (For postal applications: Include a fee of €10 and a self-addressed envelope for document return.)
Letter of Application Must be signed and include the purpose of visit (e.g., holiday, visiting family/friends), travel dates and accommodation details, funding source and proof of financial independence and commitment to leave Ireland after the visa expiry.
Accommodation Proof Hotel/guesthouse reservation or a letter from the host. The host letter must include proof of residence, such as a recent utility bill.
Proof of Funds Six months of original/stamped bank statements showing a positive balance. If funded by a third party, include their bank statements, relationship proof, and employment documents.
Proof of Ties to Home Country Required documents are employment/study proof, such as a letter from an employer or educational institution, evidence of family ties (e.g., marriage or birth certificates) and property ownership or rental agreements.
Travel/Medical Insurance Mandatory for all applicants. The coverage must include repatriation.
Previous Visa Information Details of prior visa applications (including refusals), if any.
Letter of Invitation If staying with friends/family in Ireland, it must include the reason for the visit, the dates of stay and the host's identity documents.
Child-Specific Documents For visa application for a child: Long-form birth certificate, school attendance letter, consent letter signed by both parents/legal guardians and ID proof of parents are required.
