Recent Traffic Events in Nagpur
As per a report, two people were killed in a truck accident at Kodegaon village. The victims were on a motorcycle when it skidded in their attempt to apply the brakes. As they fell on the ground, they were run over by a truck. The victims were declared dead when taken to the hospital.
An accident at Naya Kund resulted in the death of a police officer and seven injured victims. A car that went out of control crashed into a gathering of people. While the people around went to help the driver, another car came at high-speed and rushed into the crowd. This caused severe damage to the people and the death of a police officer. However, the driver managed to escape from the spot.
Road Safety Campaigns in Nagpur
Wockhardt Hospital in Nagpur started an awareness campaign named “Haar Ya Helmet". This campaign was started to create awareness among drivers without a helmet.
