2. Sale Certificate (Form 21)

3. Roadworthiness Certificate Form 22

The vehicle's manufacturer issues a Road Fitness Certificate. This document declares the vehicle fit for use on the roads and fulfils the requirements of the Motor Vehicles Act.

4. Vehicle Insurance Certificate

It covers third-party risks at a minimum, and comprehensive insurance is also covered at the time of registration.

10. Customs Clearance Certificate

If the vehicle amount exceeds ₹50,000, a PAN card is required for tax purposes. If it is not available, form 60/61 can be submitted.

12. Bank NOC (if financed)

If the vehicle is purchased on loan, a No Objection Certificate issued by the bank or financer must be obtained to declare that there is no objection to having it registered in the owner's name.

Recent road accidents in Noida highlight long-standing concerns about traffic safety:

A girl riding a scooty was thrown onto a flyover pillar after being hit by a Wagonr last week. A crane had to be used to rescue her. However, perhaps a sterner message was given out by Noida Police, which issued over 3,400 traffic challans in a single day as part of a renewed road safety campaign. 

On 20th August 2024, an accident resulted in four deaths and 24 injuries when one of the tyres of a truck burst, sending it into the stationary lorry. 

Heavy goods vehicles have also been barred from the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway from September 24 to 29 as the UP International Trade Show will be held on those days to avoid traffic jams and ensure the smoothness of the programme.

The state government of Uttar Pradesh is making efforts in the wake of growing concerns about traffic congestion and road accidents in Noida.
