In a recent report, a major hit-and-run accident took place in Muzaffarnagar, as a car hit a 4-year-old. The vehicle injured the girl very seriously and ran off from the scene. After that, the local people took the girl to the nearest hospital.

According to a report, there has been a killing incident because of a collision between a truck and a car. An overspeeding truck turned over a car, killing one child, one woman and one man. Other than them, the incident deeply injured three more people.

There has been a recent road campaign where the Muzaffarnagar traffic police handed over flowers and appreciation letters, instead of challans to traffic offenders. The program was held over a period of one month. The objective was to politely impart education on road safety awareness guidelines.
