  • Two-wheeler Tax (depending on the vehicle’s engine capacity): ₹150

  • Four-wheeler Tax (depending on the vehicle’s seating capacity):

    • Up to four seats: ₹400 
    • For every additional seating over four passengers: ₹40
    • For every additional seating of up to four passengers: ₹50 

  • Non-transport Vehicle Tax:

    • Vehicles other than diesel and running on diesel (below two years and between 19 to 20 years): ₹97.2 - ₹14.5
    • For Motorcycles (below two years and between 14 to 15 years): ₹95.8 - ₹17.2

However, during registration, you have to pay 2.5% of the vehicle cost.

Green Tax:

  • Transport vehicles completing 15 years (from the registration):

    • Motorcycle: ₹200 per annum
    • Motor cab and maxi cab: ₹400 (per annum)
    • Light commercial vehicles (goods and passenger): ₹500 (per annum)
    • Medium commercial vehicles (goods and passenger): ₹600 (per annum)
    • Heavy Vehicles (goods and passenger): ₹1000 (per annum)
    • Auto-rickshaw (goods and passenger): ₹300 (per annum)

  • Non-transport vehicles completing 15 years (from the registration date): 

    • Two-wheeler: ₹250 per five years
    • Other than two-wheelers: ₹500 per five years.
