Dhule RTO issues two types of vehicle registration. These are as follows:

As per the Registry of Motor Vehicle rules, 1990, vehicle registration charges in Dhule include:

• Registration Charges: ₹600, for all cars

• Hypothecation Charges: ₹1500, if your car is purchased on a loan

• Number Plate Charges: ₹230 - ₹400, similar to the HSRP number plate

• State Development Charges/ Parking Fee: ₹2000 to ₹4000 

• Temporary Registration Charges: ₹1200 - ₹1500 (for up to 1 month)

Yes, it is mandatory to have motor insurance before driving on the streets of Dhule. In case you fail to drive without third-party insurance, you will receive 3 months imprisonment, community service or/and a fine of up to ₹2000. For repeated offences, the amount will rise to ₹4000.
