Step 3: On the new page, applicants can track their names through two options given on the page: 'Search by Details' or 'Search by EPIC Number’.

Step 4: If applicants click on 'Search by Details', they need to fill up the required details such as age, date of birth, father's/husband's name, state, district, gender, assembly constituency, etc. After filling up, click on 'Search'.

Step 5: If applicants click on 'Search by EPIC number', they need to provide with EPIC number, state, code, etc. After filling up the online forms, applicants should click on 'Search'.

Step 6: Click on the ‘Locate on Map’ button and start to search for names on the list displayed.

Apart from these two options of voter ID search by name in Telangana, applicants can also track their names via SMS.

Residents of Telangana who applied for a voter ID card should also find out the status of the application from the official portal of the Election Commission of Telangana. Here are the steps that will help an applicant to check his/her voter ID status:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Telangana Election Commission.

Step 2: Click on the 'E-registration' option. From the drop-down list, choose ‘Assembly Constituency’.

Step 3: You will be redirected to the Voters’ Service Portal.

Step 4: Now, select 'Track Application Status'. Selecting this option, applicants have to provide their respective application ID in the application form.
