Telangana Voter ID: How to Apply, Download & Status?

Step 1: Visit the official website of Chief Electoral Officer Telangana or National Voters' Service Portal.

Step 2: Proceed to click on ‘Search in Electoral Roll.’

Step 3: On getting redirected to the next page, Individuals can track their name either by opting for any of two options: Search by details or Search by EPIC number.

Step 4: If one opts for 'Search by Details’, they have to mention details like name, age, date of birth, father’s or husband’s name, district, state, gender, assembly constituency etc. Then, click on the ‘Search’ tab.

Step 5: If one has chosen ‘Search by EPIC Number’, they have to provide EPIC number, code, state etc., and then click on ‘Search.’

Individuals can also choose the 'Locate on Map' tab and search for their name on the displayed list. In addition, Telangana citizens can track their names on the voter list via SMS.

Applicants can apply for a duplicate Voter ID card in Telangana if they lost or misplaced their original voter ID card instead of applying for a new voter ID card. Here are the steps that will guide them to do so.

Step 1: Go to the official Portal of Election commission of India and download Form EPIC-002.

Step 2: Fill out the form with relevant details like name, date of birth, address, EPIC number etc. and submit it.

As documents, attach a copy of FIR in case the voter ID card is lost. On successful authentication, a duplicate voter ID card will be sent to the mentioned address.

One can also go to the electoral office in person and get a copy of form EPIC 002. Fill it out and attach required documents.

If one has lost the voter ID card, he or she must submit a copy of the FIR. For a torn voter ID card, individuals must attach the torn card with the application form.

Step 1: Go to the official Portal of Telangana chief electoral officer and select ‘E-registration’ option.

Step 3: Provide necessary details such as name, current place of residence, date of birth, EPIC number etc., to fill out the form. Upload necessary documents (like a utility bill, rent agreement etc.), which encompass details related to the changed address.

Step 4: Submit the application form and get an application reference number, and one can use the number to track the application status.

Once the application form is processed, the updated voter ID card will be sent to the changed address.
