• Parking Fee: ₹2000 –₹4000

• Brand New Two-wheeler Vehicle: 9% of the original cost of the vehicle

• Old Two-wheeler Vehicle: 1% to 8% of the original cost of the vehicle, depending upon the age

• Brand New Four-wheeler Vehicle: 12%-14% of the original cost of the vehicle depending upon the price

• Old Four-wheeler Vehicle: 5.5% to 13% of the original cost of the vehicle, depending upon the age and price

Yes, it is mandatory to have motor insurance while driving a vehicle in India. Driving without insurance could lead to a ₹1000 fine by the police. Always remember to purchase insurance from a reputed insurance provider, as some providers do not have essential covers in their insurance.  

According to recent news, the Telangana Government has three new flyovers in their plans to improve road infrastructure and traffic congestion in Hyderabad. They want to make it a world-class city through its Strategic Road Development Plan. As per the strategy, several other plans have been developed for flyovers and underpasses throughout the city.

In a recent traffic campaign, the Hyderabad Traffic Police fined drivers for driving on the wrong side of the road. According to the police commissioner, the rule has been enforced to increase road safety measures in Hyderabad. The campaign was organised due to the death of more than 20 people last year because of wrong-side driving.
