New Delhi is growing at a fast rate and is famous for its rich cultural legacy. The capital city attracts the maximum number of tourists across the globe. From a business perspective, foreign nationals have been investing in industries like electronics, technology, pharmaceuticals etc.
Moreover, New Delhi also has international management and engineering colleges which is also a major reason behind the growing influx of foreign citizens in India. Here comes the role of diplomatic missions like embassies and consulates as they are responsible for managing the issues and grievances of foreign citizens.
Consequently, for improvement of the bilateral relationships between India and Switzerland, there is an Embassy in New Delhi.
Functions of the Embassy of Switzerland in New Delhi are as follows:

For obtaining a visa from the Swiss Embassy, you have to ensure the submission of the following documents.
An updated and signed Switzerland Visa Application Form
A valid passport
Two Passport size photograph
Medical insurance that will offer coverage of the entire trip
A cover letter that confirms the reason behind the trip
Evidence on accommodation
Proof of having sufficient financial balance
Receipt of paid fees for visa
