All about Tilak Marg RTO Office in Delhi

The Tilak Marg RTO Office in Delhi was created under the jurisdiction of Transport Department of Delhi to monitor all the vehicular process and other motor-related issues in the city of Delhi.

It is one among the 13 RTOs spread across the city to facilitate vehicle registration processes and licence grant. The RTO in Tilak Marg is headed by the Transport Commissioner of Delhi.

Following are some of the important functions undertaken by the RTO in Tilak Marg:

• New vehicles can be permanently registered in this RTO under the DL-02 code.
  
• Temporary registration numbers are provided for new vehicles.
  
• Learner’s licence and driver’s licence can be procured.
  
• Inter-state, national permit for goods vehicles can be obtained.
  
• Tourist permits for vehicles are provided here.
  
• Fitness certificate for commercial vehicles can be obtained here.
  
• Permit for E-Rickshaws can be obtained.
  
• Renewal of driver’s licence and any changes in registration certificate can also be done here.
  
• The RTO also takes stringent measures in curbing the pollution caused by the vehicles.
