NH 67, previously NH63, connects two major south Indian states. Currently, there is a four-laning work going on on this National Highway between Badvel and Nellore. There is also a 6-lane work in progress between Hospet and Ballari.

National Highway 67 runs through two important states of South India. This highway runs through a few of the major cities of these states and connects them with 2 to 4-lane roads.

NH 67 passes through a few major cities. They are Dharwad, Hubballi, Koppal, Hospet, and Ballari in Karnataka and Nellore, Guntakal, Jammalamadugu, Mydukur, Guntakal, Gooty, Badvel, Proddatur and Krishnapatnam Port in Andhra Pradesh.

NH 67 connects Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka with the entry point being Ramnagar and exit point being Krishnapatnam Port. It also has two major junctions on its route; they are NH 176B near Mydukur and NH16 near Nellore.

NHAI, with the state governments of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, permits and monitors transportation of specific vehicles from NH 67. Here are the types of vehicles allowed on NH 67.

• Truck or Bus
• Heavy Construction Machinery, Earth Moving Vehicles and Multi Axle Vehicle
• Light goods vehicle or minibus
• Light Commercial Vehicle
