NH-15 is a major road connecting two states, namely:

This highway starts from Baihata in Assam and ends at Wakro in Arunachal Pradesh by passing through through Mangaldai, Dhekiajuli, Tezpur, Banderdeva, North Lakhimpur, Kulajan, Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Rupai and Mahadevpur.

The National Highway 15 starts from the junction with NH 27 in Baihata Chariali in the Kamrup district of Assam connecting significant places like Mangaldai, North Lakhimpur, Tezpur and Dum Duma in Assam. Its exit point is at the junction with NH 13 in Wakro, Arunachal Pradesh.

The majority portion of NH 15 runs through Assam.

• Motor vehicles having nine or more seats in addition to the driver’s seat used to carry passengers: 90 km per hour
• Motor vehicles used to carry goods: 80 km per hour
