News was published on the collision of a truck with an auto-rickshaw that resulted in an accident causing the death of 7 school children. The accident took place in the Kankar district of Chhattisgarh in the Bastar region. Students who were victims of the accident were between the ages of 5 years to 8 years.
Another news article reported about an accident between a car and a passenger bus that resulted in the death of 4 men near the Metawada village on NH-30. The bus was heading towards Jagdalpur from Raipur when it collided with a car coming from the opposite direction. Four passengers inside the car died on the spot and one of them suffered serious injuries. No passengers on the bus suffered any injuries. Later, police arrested the bus driver who had fled from the scene.
