RTO Bhiwani

Yes, it is mandatory to have motor insurance while driving in Bhiwani. If traffic police find a vehicle owner without valid insurance they must pay penalties. It may sometimes also involve imprisonment.

Penalty charges for driving without proper insurance is ₹2000. For repeating the offence penalty charges increase to ₹4000. 

According to the news, 2 people were found dead because of an accident between a car and a truck on the Ambala-Jagadhri highway. The man driving the car lost control and crashed into a stationary truck. Out of the 5 passengers, 3 including the driver suffered severe injuries, whereas 2 passengers died on spot. 

Another news report about a road accident on the Hansi-Bhiwani road in Bhawani Khera resulted in the death of 2 people. The victims were heading back home after attending a wedding when their car collided with a speeding truck. Both passengers died on the spot. The victim’s family members lodged a complaint against the truck driver.

The youth of Bhiwani started a road safety campaign in order to provide the message of road safety to all drivers. Participants of the campaign installed reflectors on cars along with a message for road safety. The members of the Youth Awakening and Public Welfare Mission and the Subhash Chandra Bose Yuva Jagruti Sewa Samiti held this campaign.

The Police Department started another awareness campaign to make the drivers aware to keep themselves fit along with maintaining the traffic rules. People also called this campaign Road Safety Jeevan Raksha. In this campaign, the police officers would motivate the drivers to go for walks or cycle at least once a week to keep their bodies fit.
