Yes, having motor insurance is compulsory for all vehicle owners in Koramangala. Failing to comply with this rule results in penalties. The fine for driving an uninsured two-wheeler or three-wheeler is ₹1,000, while for LMVs (Light Motor Vehicles), the penalty is ₹3,000.

The initiative aimed to alter drivers' behaviour through narration, demonstrating how one incident could destroy a relationship for years to come.

It was supported by various media campaigns across TV, radio, and newspapers for four weeks. It mirrored Karnataka's commitment to curbing road traffic accidents, which still pose a serious challenge in the state; speeding accounts for 88% of crash injuries and 92% of deaths in the state.
