A recent report says that 4 people were dead on the spot after being crushed by an unidentified vehicle on National Highway – 218. The victims were merchants selling onions from the ages of 38 to 40. They stopped on the highway to fix a flat tyre of their lorry.

An accident between a truck, a car and a motorbike caused the death of 4 people on the Belagavi-Bagalkot road. According to reports, the car was hit by the truck first, which caused the death of the driver and the two passengers inside. After hitting the car, the truck crashed into a motorbike that killed the driver on the spot. Several charges under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) were registered against the truck driver while the police carried on with their investigation.
