Extension of Nine Months for Completion of a Housing Project
For housing projects whose registration expired on 31st December 2021, the UP RERA announced an extension of nine months. It is done to uplift the pandemic-hit real estate sectors and compensate for the delay in the project process caused during the pandemic. However, the extension of nine months is applicable for housing projects that fall under the NCR region. Housing projects that fall in the outer region of NCR will get an extension of six months.
National Lok Adalat Organised on 10th July 2021
UP RERA has arranged the National Lok Adalat under the State Legal Services Authority with the intention of addressing buyers' grievances. It was held via an online platform on account of the pandemic situation.
A Request by Developers Regarding Time Expansion for Project Completion
