Step 1: Firstly, log on to the official portal of UP RERA and click on ‘Registration’.

Step 3: Provide necessary details and contact number in the given fields. Promoters will receive an OTP in registered mobile numbers. Enter OTP to authenticate contact details.
Step 4: On entering the OTP, get forwarded to the registration page for promoters and enter promoter name, PAN card details, income tax details, contact number etc., to complete the registration process.
Step 5: Finally, promoters must initiate registration fee payment to complete the registration and obtain the registration number.

For housing projects whose registration expired on 31st December 2021, the UP RERA announced an extension of nine months. It is done to uplift the pandemic-hit real estate sectors and compensate for the delay in the project process caused during the pandemic. However, the extension of nine months is applicable for housing projects that fall under the NCR region. Housing projects that fall in the outer region of NCR will get an extension of six months.
UP RERA has arranged the National Lok Adalat under the State Legal Services Authority with the intention of addressing buyers' grievances. It was held via an online platform on account of the pandemic situation.
Developers requested the officials of UP RERA for an extension of 12 months in order to complete the projects which were delayed due to the second wave of the pandemic. The defaulter's list will reflect UP RERA project details like project name, registration number of project, location details, name of the promoter, etc.
