- Builders should only charge for the carpet area, excluding the super-built area
- Builders can not charge more than 10% of the total cost as an advance payment from home buyers
- Grievances registered to Appellate Tribunal should be solved within 60 days of the lodging of the complaint
- Builders should deliver the property timely, or they should pay the penalty charges
- The renewal of registration will be valid for 5 years

Step 1: Visit the official site of TN RERA as the act is regulated by the authorities of Tamil Nadu.
Step 2: Click on the “Online Registration for Projects” tab
Step 3: From the drop-down menu, choose the Andaman option
Step 4: You will be redirected to the “Application for Registration of Projects by the Promoter” page
Step 5: Upload scanned copies of the required documents
Step 6: Select “Individual” for the promoters’ type
Step 7: Click on Next and get Form A
