How to Calculate CDMA Property Tax in AP?

Property tax calculation in Andhra Pradesh has become easier as individuals can now use online tax calculators for computing purposes.

Here is a step-by-step guide on the process of using a property tax calculator at the CDMA AP website,  

Step 1 – Visit the official website of CDMA (Commissioner and Director Municipal Administration) AP (Andhra Pradesh).

Step 2 - From the options available on the left side, click on ‘Property Tax Auto Calculator’ under ‘Property Tax Calculator (to know the tax to be levied)’. 

Step 3 - A new webpage will open. Select ‘District’ and ‘Corporation/Municipality/NP’.

Step 4 – Click on ‘Submit’ after selecting data from lists. 

Step 5 – Individuals will land on another new webpage. Enter details like revenue zone, floor number, occupancy (owner or tenant), construction date, building classification, nature of usage, constructed plinth area and plinth area in building plan. 

Step 6 - Click on ‘Calculate’. The tax amount will appear on screen.

Note: In Andhra Pradesh, house tax calculation occurs on the basis of Annual Rental Value (ARV) and Tax Rate as specified by the Corporation for different properties located within the boundaries of such authority.

How to Pay CDMA AP Property Tax Online?

Follow the steps mentioned below to pay CDMA AP property tax online,

Step 1: Visit the official website of CDMA (Commissioner and Director Municipal Administration) AP (Andhra Pradesh).

Step 2: Select ‘Property Tax’ under ‘Online Payments’. You will find this on the above-left section of the website.

Step 3 – Select ‘District’, ‘Corporation / Municipality / NP’ from available options and select ‘Property Tax’ under ‘Payment Type’ option.  

Step 4 – Click on ‘Submit’. 

Step 5 – On the following webpage, provide details like assessment number, Old assessment number, Owner name or Door number and click on ‘Search’. 

Step 6 – The next web page shows information about property and tax payable amounts. Here, one can see two options such as ‘Pay Tax’ (for online payment) and ‘View DCB’ (for offline payment). Click on ‘Pay Tax’.

Step 7 – Enter the specific amount in the ‘Balance amount you are likely to pay option. Follow the instructions and click ‘Pay Online’, and complete payment. 

Step 8 – After a successful transaction, CDMA property tax payment receipt will generate. Individuals can download and save this receipt for future reference.

How to Pay CDMA AP Property Tax Offline?

Step 1 – Visit the respective Urban Local Body counter in Andhra Pradesh or Citizen Service Centres (PuraSeva centres) in the municipal office.

Step 2 – Submit all the required documents and the tax amount.

Step 3 – Collect payment receipt.

What Is the Last Day of Paying CDMA AP Property Tax?

As the property tax is collected semi-annually, property owners must pay the same by the end of June (for 1st half of the tax payment) and the end of December (for 2nd half of the tax payment).
