How to Get an Encumbrance Certificate in Andhra Pradesh Online?
Follow the underlying steps to apply for EC online –
Step 1 - Visit the official website of Andhra Pradesh Registration and Stamp Department.
Note – An individual has to register on the website first before proceeding to apply for EC.
Step 2 - Select Online EC from the homepage and enter details on the redirected page.
Step 3 - Enter the credentials you receive through SMS on your registered mobile number.
Step 4 - Enter the OTP and captcha you receive after entering the username and password, and click on 'Submit.'
Step 5 – Once registered on the portal select encumbrance certificate.
Step 6 – In the redirected page, enter land details and click on ‘Submit’.
Step 7 – Next page will display all the details of your land. Click on ‘Next’ to choose between signed or unsigned certificates.
Step 8 – On choosing an unsigned certificate, you will be redirected to the next page. Click on ‘Select All’ and then ‘Print’ to download the certificate.
If you opt for a signed certificate, you will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number, enter details and download the encumbrance certificate.
How to Get an Encumbrance Certificate in Andhra Pradesh Offline?
An applicant can choose either of the two offline processes to apply for a Encumbrance Certificate in Andhra Pradesh. They may approach a MeeSeva franchise or directly approaching the sub registrar's office under whose jurisdiction the land falls. Read the procedures below for more details.

Step 3 – Submit the form and applicable fees to the operator.
Step 4 – You will receive application process updates through SMS on your registered mobile no.
Step 5 – After verifying the authenticity of provided details, a concerned sub-registrar officer approves the application request for EC.
After approval from SRO, EC is issued and sent to the applicant from the franchise via post, or the applicant needs to collect it from the operator directly as per the mode of delivery chosen.
Through Sub-registrar Office
The procedure to avail EC in Andhra Pradesh is listed below.
Step 1 – Visit your nearest Sub-registrar’s office.
Step 2 – Collect Form 22 of EC. Fill it with your particulars as per requirement.
