Penalty for Not Paying Road Tax in Himachal Pradesh

If an individual fails to pay road tax within a specified time, he or she has to pay a penalty of 25% per annum. In case of delay for less than a year, the fine incurred will be calculated on a daily basis. Further, authorities compute penalties on the 16th of every month, which is the ideal time for calculation.
