If there is a transfer of a four-wheeler from another state to Chandigarh, then you are applicable to pay tax as per the following rules:

  • 6% on Insured’s Declared Value for Four wheeler vehicles costing less than Rs.20 lakh

  • Step 4: Click on the tab marked  “Select State name”. You will be redirected to https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/vahanservice/vahan/ui/statevalidation/homepage.xhtml to make the Chandigarh road tax payment online. Over here select the state and proceed to make the payment. 
  • Step 5: You can choose how you want to clear these taxes from options ranging between debit card and internet banking.
  • Step 6: Complete the payment.
