Road Tax in Telangana

Telangana Parivahan tax follows The Telangana Motor Vehicles Taxation Act 1963. The tax is calculated according to the slabs shown below. Apart from the one-time tax, there is a Green Tax imposed. Transport vehicles that have completed 7 years of age from the date of registration need to pay Rs. 2000 per annum. Non-transport vehicles that have completed 15 years of age from the date of registration needs to pay Rs. 250 (applicable for motorcycles for 5 years) and Rs. 500 (applicable other than motor cycles for 5 years).

The Telangana RTO tax rate for two-wheelers in the state are as follows.

Penalty for Non-Payment of Road Taxes in Telangana
