Indira Gandhi International Airport, located in Palam, is India's busiest and largest airport. It began operations from 1886 and serves as a major gateway from India to other countries. Located only 16 km from the city centre, this airport accommodates airlines like Air India, IndiGo, SpiceJet, etc.
Safdarjung Airport, situated 3.8 km away from New Delhi, is a historical airport with significant importance. It was established during the British era in 1929 as Willingdon Airfield. In 2021, the Government undertook an initiative to construct operational buildings in the airport.
The distance between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 is approximately 8 km. You may avail cab or taxis to reach from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3.
The Airport Metro station is 1km away from Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.
