  • A ₹3 stamp fee is attached to the application for changing the name. This application is found in Annexure A.
  • An affidavit attested by a notary that contains the name of the previous and current property owner. Annexure C contains this affidavit.
  • An indemnity bond will be signed on ₹100 stamp paper. This is done to ensure that the owner will compensate the Municipal Corporation in case there is a disagreement between both parties after mutation. A notary must attest to this bond. Annexure B contains the indemnity bond.
  • Receipt of latest property tax payment.
  • Identity proof.
  • A copy of the Power of Attorney (if required).
  • A copy of the Succession Certificate (if required).

After all the documents are submitted, the local revenue inspector carries out a verification process.
