How many Types of Jobs in Indian Army?

Serving in the army of a country to protect the lives and interests of its people can be the most prestigious title that an officer can have. To protect the country from risks, the Indian Armed Forces hire qualified people for different jobs in the Indian Army. All of these ranks in the Army's officer series serve in high esteem as positions of authority. 

Being an officer in the Army calls for uncompromising honesty and moral rectitude. A career in the Army typically begins at the rank of Lieutenant and progresses upwards through the ranks to the rank of Colonel and eventually General.

• India's defence industry is a critical sector. It is one of the world's largest armed forces, with approximately 14.4 lakhs (1.44 million) active employees. The total budget for the Indian military for fiscal year 2019 has been approved at Rs 4,31,011 crore ($60.9 billion). 
• An Army officer is an operative of the Indian Armed Forces who has a knack and authority to run and conduct specific responsibilities within the force. A career as an Army officer includes a variety of ranks under his or her command.

Junior Commissioned Officers' Ranks

Junior commissioned officers (JCOs) are typically promoted from the ranks of non-commissioned officers (NCOs). There are three types of Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs), all of which are in supervisory roles:

Honorary Ranks
