Four-Wheelers:

• For Four-Wheelers Less Than ₹6 Lakh: 9%

• For Four-Wheelers Between ₹6 Lakh and ₹15 Lakh: 11%

• For Four-Wheelers Between ₹15 Lakh and ₹35 Lakh: 13%

• For Four-Wheelers More Than ₹35 Lakh: 14%

Two-Wheelers:

Yes, it is mandatory to have motor insurance when you are driving on the roads of Margao. If the police catch you without valid car insurance, it will lead to the payment of a fine of ₹2000 with three months in prison. However, the fine rises to ₹4000 with two years of prison if it is a repeated offence.
