Simplifying your Mahindra Car Insurance

Mahindra cars are known to be rugged and steady. However, given the rate of accidents and state of road conditions, a Mahindra car is still prone to damages and risks. Based on Mahindra’s unique features and specifications and its varied car models in the market, we’re here to guide you to pick the right car insurance that will help keep it protected for years, whilst maintaining your bank balance positively.

For starters, the most basic and required form of it all, the Third-Party Insurance, will ensure your Mahindra car is legal to drive around India, whilst also covering any possible damages and losses to a third-party person, property or vehicle. However, the Standard or Comprehensive policy will not only cover for third-party damages but, also cover for what you love the most- your Mahindra car! Additionally, one is always open to opt for customized add-ons to add layers of shield to their most prized possession.

What’s Covered in Mahindra Car Insurance

Hatchback Damaged Driving

Accidents

  • Common damages to your own Mahindra car like accidents & collisions
Getaway Car

Theft

  • If unfortunately your Mahindra car gets stolen

Fire

  • Common damages due to Fire

Natural Disasters

  • Damages due to any natural calamities

Personal Accident

  • If there is a car accident and unfortunately it leads to death or disability of the owner

Third Party Losses

  • Damage your car causes to someone else's car or any other property

What’s not Covered

It is equally important to know what’s not covered in your Mahindra car insurance policy, so that there are no surprises when you make a claim. Here are some such situations:

You were driving drunk or without a valid driving license.
You hold a learner’s license and were driving without a valid driving license-holder in the front passenger seat.
Any damage which is not a direct result of the accident (e.g. after an accident, if the damaged car is driven incorrectly and the engine gets damaged, it will not be covered)
Any contributory negligence(e.g. damage due to driving a car in a flood, which is not recommended as per the manufacturer’s driving manual, will not be covered)
Some situations are covered in add-ons. If you haven’t bought those add-ons, the corresponding situations will not be covered.
