How to Download Aadhaar Card by Aadhaar Number?

Aadhaar is an ID, just like any other kind of identification, and all Indian citizens are required to have one. Apart from its hard copy, Aadhaar can also be downloaded from the official website, which can be used for official purposes. 

So, if you want to download an Aadhaar card using your Aadhaar number, you must follow a few steps.

A few steps for downloading Aadhaar Card by Aadhaar number are as follows – 

Step 1: Visit the Unique Identification Authority of India's website (UIDAI).

Step 2: From the home page menu, select "My Aadhaar."

Step 3: After that, select "Get Aadhaar" and then "Download Aadhaar."

Step 4: Follow the redirection to land on a new web page.

Step 5: Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number by selecting "Aadhaar Number" from the list of options under the "I have" section on the new page.

Step 6: Click the box next to the option, "I want a masked Aadhaar," if you do not want your Aadhaar card to display all the digits of your UID number.

Step 7: Enter the Captcha code in the area provided for the Captcha verification, and then click the "Send OTP" button. 

Step 8: Your UIDAI-registered contact number will receive a One Time Password (OTP) message.

Step 9: Then, provide your OTP in the space provided, and click on the "Verify and Download" button.

Step 10: The OTP will be validated, and then the e-Aadhaar will be downloaded.

Hence, using these steps, you can download an Aadhaar card by using your Aadhaar number. First, you must link your mobile number with your Aadhaar card. In this regard, contact your nearest Aadhaar office to do the needful.
