Follow these steps for checking the aadhaar update history: 

Step 1: Open the UIDAI website 

Step 2: Click on “My Aadhaar” tab and select “Aadhaar Update History” from the list of options under “Update your Aadhaar”

Step 3: Enter your Aadhaar details 

Step 4: Select between OTP (you will receive this on your registered mobile application) or TOTP (you can generate this from the Aadhaar application on your phone: mAadhaar)

Step 5: You will see a “submit” button. Click on the same after entering the OTP/ TOTP

You will receive a list of both your online and offline Aadhaar history updates on your screen.

There is still no direct way to download the Aadhaar update history. But one can take screenshots of the Aadhaar update history webpage for future references. Further you can print or download the same in PDF format. Here are the steps to do it:

Step 1: After you are redirected to the Aadhaar update history page from the official website of UIDAI. You can view all the updates you have made so far. 

Step 2: Click on the three vertical dots on the extreme right of your browser while you are on the Aadhaar update history webpage. 

Step 3: Select “Print” to save it as a PDF or print it immediately.

Step 4: You can also click “Ctrl” and “P” together to print the webpage.

When checking your Aadhaar update history, you must keep these things in your mind:

• You must link your mobile number with your Aadhaar card.
• The process of just checking its history is an online facility. So, the authority in an Aadhaar enrolment centre may not help in this procedure.
• If you want to check your update history without your Aadhaar card, you may do so by first generating a Virtual ID.
• Since this is an online-only facility, the cardholder can access this history update.

There are some advantages of downloading the Aadhaar update history:

• Validation and proof of changed permanent address, if required. 
• Another advantage of this provision is to track any misuse of one's data.
• You can check any changes made ever since your Aadhaar card was generated.
