In Bhuj, a truck and an SUV crashed into each other killing three people. As per police reports, the speeding truck crashed into an SUV. The SUV was dropping office employees when it met with the accident. It claimed the life of 2 passengers and the driver of the car. 

As per reports, 2 deaths were reported on the Gujarat highway. Two trucks collided on the Bhuj-Bhachau highway. As the truck tried to overtake a vehicle, it rammed into another truck coming from the opposite direction. According to officials, the two trucks were going above the speed limit, and soon after the collision both trucks caught on fire. 

This massive incident created a traffic jam for several hours on the highway. The official report notes that both drivers died in the fire caused by an accident.

Road Safety Campaigns in Bhuj

As per reports, Gujarat has recorded a drop in road accidents in last 10 years in spite of the increasing number of vehicles on roads. 

A seminar was organised to make citizens aware of traffic rules and regulations. As a part of this program, members of the Gujarat Road Safety Authority, one retired RTO officer and a City traffic trainer congregated to give information about traffic awareness.
