New Delhi, the largest metropolitan city in India, is also known for its rich cultural heritage. It is one of the major tourist attractions of India. New Delhi is also a centre of international trade and politics in India. Thus, the city has been attracting a large number of foreign nationals for business, employment and tourism.
New Delhi houses major embassies and the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi is for handling the affairs of Thai foreign nationals while they are travelling to India.
Likewise, the Embassy is also responsible for regulating the relations with Thailand from an economic and commercial perspective.
The Embassy is responsible for performing the following functions:
Improving the existing communication by promoting continuous business exchanges between the countries
Protecting the legal interests of Thai nationals in India
Provides assistance in the visa application process
Acting as a representative of Thailand in India and attending cultural events
Issuing birth certificates for Thai new-borns in India
Assisting the Thai nationals in obtaining legal services in case of detestation, arrest etc.
Takes care of the ongoing commercial and financial affairs between Thailand and India.
Replacement or renewal of passport if it is misplaced or stolen in any case
Vacating Thai citizens from India, if there is a civil emergency across the nation
Submit these documents to the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi for procuring a visa:
A valid passport
Copy of the passport declaring your personal information
A signed and updated visa application form
Evidence of having sufficient amount of financial funds
2 current passport-size photographs with a white background
Evidence of accommodation
Receipt of visa fees
Proof of employment
