Etawah is a district in Uttar Pradesh. It lies in the South-Western part of Uttar Pradesh. Due to its high population density, UP-75 Etawah RTO is one of the busiest RTO in India. The National Highway 19 passes through the city of  Etawah, connecting it to important cities like Delhi, Gurugram, Allahabad,  Dhanbad, Varanasi  and Kolkata.

Etawah RTO charges registration fees for services such as renewal, registration and duplication etc. These charges include:

• Imported Bikes: ₹2500

As per the regulations of the UP transport department, every vehicle owner has to pay road tax during the registration of the vehicle itself. Rates of UP road tax vary from vehicle to vehicle depending on their price:

• Commercial Vehicle Tax Rates: Start from ₹665
• Two-Wheelers Vehicle Tax Rates: 2-8% of the price of the vehicle
• Four-Wheelers Vehicle Tax Rates: 3-9% of the price of the vehicle

According to news, in July 2022 Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 296-km long Bundelkhand Expressway, a project costing upwards of ₹14850 crores. It is being constructed to merge the Agra-Lucknow expressway and Bundelkhand Expressway. This project is going to bring Etawah closer to the main cities in Uttar Pradesh.

In August 2022 Divine Light Public Inter College in Etawah along with UP-75 Etawah RTO organised an annual prize distribution event of the school where they taught all students about traffic and road safety. 

The transport department with Etawah RTO has been organising campaigns to reduce accidents. They have been constantly checking helmets and seatbelts.
