• After your payment clears, an allotment letter is generated in your name against the desired registration number. This letter remains valid for 90 days after you receive it.

You can use this allotment letter to acquire the physical number plates within three months.

Ensure that you do not miss this deadline since that would cancel out your ownership of the number.

How long does this entire process take?

The registration process takes around three days, while the next two days are allotted for bidding. Thus, from registration to bidding, the process is 5 days long.

Allotment letters may take a while to reach your hands. However, after you acquire such a letter, you have 90 days to complete the remaining registration process at the RTO.
